TATA IPL 2026, Match 10: SRH vs LSG – Match Report
In another TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) thriller, Lucknow Super Giants secured a crucial victory over hosts Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 10 of TATA IPL 2026 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, to get their first win of the new season.
After LSG won the toss and elected to field, their bowling unit, led by a masterclass from Mohd. Shami dismantled the Sunrisers’ top order early. Despite a highly commendable recovery from Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy to help SRH post a competitive total, LSG’s disciplined death bowling and crucial batting performances from Captain Rishabh Pant and Aiden Markram ensured they crossed the finish line with one delivery to spare.
LSG immediately justified their decision to bowl first. Shami produced an opening spell of the highest quality, removing the dangerous Abhishek Sharma (0 off 2) and Travis Head (7 off 8) in consecutive overs. When Prince Yadav clean-bowled SRH skipper Ishan Kishan (1 off 4), the hosts were reeling at 11/3 within the first four overs.
